The first Heart to Heart Retreat was held in Kansas City in 2002. Thirty-five women who knew each other only through online support groups came together for a wonderful weekend - a weekend where we shared face to face and heart to heart what it means to be a first mother. Since then there has been a H2H Retreat nearly every year.
It's a mostly unstructured weekend of sharing, relaxing and fun for first mothers only. Some years we have had a guest speaker, some years we have participated in a healing ritual. Always we have connected in a way that is special and very meaningful.
The next H2H Retreat will be held in Las Vegas, NV, September 10-12, 2010. We have a room block at a great rate at the Excalibur Hotel. There will be a dinner on Friday night. The registration cost is $45, which includes the Friday dinner and some mementos.
